I got a pocket, I got a pocket hey hey hey hey.
I've been keeping an eye out and preparing Ben for a birdie for the past few weeks. And as it happens, last Monday a little lost cockatiel found its way into Rhonda's yard. A little white girl with bright orange cheeks and a penchant for laying unfertilised eggs (seriously, 3 in the last 4 days).
She is friendly and likes to sit on my shoulder or walk around the house with her funny head banging gait. Her name is Pocket and I'm just hoping the real owners don't turn up and steal her back :(
Quick list of what happened on the weekend:
Went to Kellie's, got pretty tipsy, apparently coloured the cat blue, re-pierced one of my ears (painfree when drunk - I recommend).
Got home about 2.30 and stayed up till I was relatively sober.
Went to Blackwater races in Bluff on Saturday (Blackwater doesn't have a track) with a HUGE headache.
Got sat right in front of loudspeaker O_O
Ow.
Got home about 8pm and went to Trent's for BBQ, fell asleep about 8.15pm.
Sunday morning got up early and went to markets.
Got some awesome figs, avocados, eggplant and matoes (dinner tonight is eggplant + bacon lasagna - NOM) and a dutch clog :D
Visited the crazy gramma (she gave me easter chocolates - when was easter?)
Then I went home and me and Ben undercoated the bedroom. Blah.
My Aunt, Mike, Michaela, Talyssa and Booma are visiting for the long weekend and as soon as they leave, Ben's brother is coming for Beef Week.
CLEAN UP TIME :(
This is the latest stray in our neighbourhood, he hangs with Rocky's brother. Like a gang. A pretty gang.

Bella is going in for surgery on Friday. She is getting some small lumps and bumps removed and her nose biopsied. I think she knows too, she's been very quiet since coming home from the vet.
And this isn't Bella, this is Calfy, she's being bottlefed at the farm, we met her in January, she will suck your hands right off the end of your wrist.
I got this awesome book about Feng Shui-ing your house and I'm trying to explain to Ben that he can't build a bedframe that is enclosed underneath because while we sleep our Chi needs room to flow around us.
I don't think he's getting it :(
